One hundred and fifty people of Harinathpur village were sued on charge of attacking a mobile court led by Nawabganj upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) on Friday.

When a team of forest officials and police, led by UNO Mosiur Rahman, went to the village to remove illegal structures from the forest land on Friday afternoon, the villagers attacked them with brickbats, said the beat officer.

On information, police rushed to the spot and fired 10 bullets to bring the situation under control, said Subrata Sarkar, officer in charge of the police station.
