Lightning kills one

A farmer was killed by lightning at Chak Shimla village in Atrai upazila of Naogaon district yesterday. The deceased is Anwar Hossain, 40, son of Gul Mohammad of the village. Police and family sources said a thunderbolt struck Anwar when he was working at his farmland during a heavy rain. He died on the spot.
