JMB suspect arrested

Rapid Action Battalion arrested a suspected member of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) at Char Radhakanai village in Phulbaria upazila of the district on Friday night. The arrestee is Hafez Mohammad Belal, 31, son of Abdul Hakim of the village. On secret information, a team of Rab-14 raided the area and arrested Belal from his house. He was later handed over to Phulbaria Police Station, said Rifat Khan Rajib, officer-in-charge of the PS.
