JMB member held from Mymensingh

Police today claimed to have arrested a suspected militant of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Trishal upazila of Mymensingh.

Abu Raihan Bin Sadek alias Raihan, 32, hailing from Saud Kanda village in the upazila was held in the wee hours of today from his home, our Mymensingh correspondent reports quoting Additional Superintendent of Mymensingh Police, Noor-E-Alam.

A case was filed against Raihan under the Anti-Terrorism Act in 2009. Police have been following him for a long time, Noor-E-Alam said.

Raihan has been taken to Trishal Police Station for interrogation, the correspondent reports quoting officer-in-charge of the police station Mohammad Moniruzzaman.
