AL again blames BNP men
Awami League Organising Secretary Enamul Haque Shamim today again blamed BNP men for carrying out a fresh attack on party’s chairperson Khaleda Zia’s motorcade in Feni Sadar this afternoon.
“Hurling petrol bombs is an old characteristic of BNP,” Shamim said while talking to The Daily Star in his instant reaction about what BNP claimed the fresh attack on Khaleda Zia.
Khaleda Zia is trying to create a new issue and thus she is devising such activities, the Awami League leader said terming the attack on Khaleda Zia’s motorcade a preplanned drama of the party.
Earlier in the day, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today again blamed BNP men for the attack on Khaleda Zia’s motorcade.
“It is a planned attack designed by the policymaking level leaders of BNP,” Quader also road transport and bridges minister came up with the remarks while addressing a programme in Rajshahi this afternoon.
BNP thought that the street will be flooded with the flow of people when Khaleda Zia will come to the street but disappointed, Quader said. “These attacks are outcome of such frustration,” he added.
However, the Awami League leader warned that the people responsible for the attack will be brought to book for trial.
“The attackers irrespective of their party affiliation will be held for justice,” the minister said.
