Farmer hacked to death in Jessore

A man was hacked to death by criminals at Andolpota village in Jessore Sadar upazila after they called him out of his house over mobile phone on Sunday night.

The deceased was Azizul Sarder, 32, a farmer and son of Alauddin Sarder.

Azizul's uncle Shahjahan Ali said the body of his nephew was recovered from near the septic tank of Andolpota Secondary School under Kotwali Police Station around 1:00am on Monday. The body was inside a sack.

Azizul had been missing since 8:00pm on Sunday after he was called out of his house by Tariqul Islam, night guard of the school.
