Fake NSI man arrested

Members of Raid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a man posing as a National Security Intelligence (NSI) member in Kaharol upazila of the district on Saturday night.

The arrestee is Md Abdullah Al Mahmud, 24, son of Ismail Hossain of Uttar Moheshpur village in the upazila.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Dinajpur Rab arrested Abdullah from Garnurpur village.

They handed him over to Kaharol police yesterday.

Officer-in-Charge of Kaharol Police Station Ayub Ali said police produced Abdullah before the Additional Judicial Magistrate's Court that sent him to jail.
