Eight boys return from Indian jail
Eight Bangladeshi teenage boys returned home through Benapole check post after serving 21 months in an Indian jail.
The returnees are Yasin Sheikh 12, Ibrahim Sheik 14, Masum Billah,15, Mujahidul Islam 14, Ajibor Sarder, 15, Wasikul Islam, 14, Naeem Gazi, 15, and Ariful islam, 13. They hail from different areas in Khulna and Satkhira.
Abdul Wahab, commander of Benapole BGB camp, said two years ago, the boys entered Indian territory without valid documents through Jessore border in search of jobs.
Indian police arrested them from Kolkata in West Bengal. Later, an Indian court sentenced the eight to 21 months' imprisonment each.
