BSF return 25 Bangladeshis
Twenty-five Bangladeshi nationals, arrested by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday, returned home through Benapole check post yesterday.
Indian border guards arrested them while they were crossing the border illegally. Lt Col Abdur Rahim, commanding officer of BGB 23 Battalion, said BSF members detained the Bangladeshis from Jhaudanga bordering area on Saturday night for entering Indian without valid documents. BSF personnel handed over the arrestees to their Bangladesh counterparts yesterday morning.
