Bogra medical tech student missing

Police are yet to rescue the student who has been missing for the last 25 days.

Rashedunnabi, a student of Saic Institute of Medical Technology in the district, went out of his mess at Sutrapur in Bogra town on May 2 and since then he has been missing.

Md Rashedunnabi, 21, son of Rezaul Karim of Udakhali village under Fulcory upazila of Gaibandha is a second year student of diploma in laboratory medicine of the institute.

Rashed's parents said he was resident of MR mess at Sutrapur in the town from where he went missing on May 2. His family members searched for him everywhere but could not find him.

Quoting Rashed's mess mates, victim's brother Raihan Ali said they tried their best to trace him out but failed.

Principal Dr Esha Rezwana said she heard the news of Rashed's missing from his parents. She said the boy left the college after appearing in the first year exam in January.

Inspector (investigation) of Sadar Police Station Aslam Hossain said police have been trying their best to rescue him.
