Body of missing easy bike driver found

The decomposed body of an easy bike driver, who went missing on February 19, was found in a ditch beside Khulna-Jessore highway in Rupsha upazila of Khulna district yesterday. 

The dead is Akbar Ali, 25, son of Afzal Sheikh of  Satbaria village in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat.

Police quoted victim's family members as saying that Akbar went out of his house along with his vehicle in the morning and did not return at night. Afzal Sheikh filed a general diary (GD) with Fakirhat Police Station the same night, said Anisur Rahman, officer in charge of the police station.

Police said criminals might have strangled Akbar and took away his vehicle.
