Police in a drive seize 8,000 SIM cards of different operators, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) equipment, a computer and arrest one person from Tongi’s Madhya Arichpur area.

Police in a drive last night seized 8,000 SIM cards of different operators, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) equipment, a computer and arrested one person from Tongi’s Madhya Arichpur area.

The arrestee was identified as Shakhwat Hossain, 25, son of Saifuddin of Nojorpur village under Senbagh upazila in Noakhali district, reports our Gazipur correspondent.

A case was lodged with Tongi Police Station in this connection, said Md Siddiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge of the police station.
