4 senior police officers transferred

In a reshuffle to the police administration, the government today transferred four senior officers to new postings.

Shahab Uddin Qureshi, deputy inspector general (DIG) of Police Bureau of Investigation, and Mahbubur Rahman, additional commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, will replace each other.

Khandaker Golam Faruq, additional DIG of Dhaka Range, and Md Didar Ahmed, additional DIG of Khulna Range, have been given the charges of additional police commissioners of DMP.

The transfers will take immediate effect, said a home ministry circular issued today.
