3 hurt in bomb attack by 'robbers' in Chuadanga

Three members of a family were injured in a bomb attack carried out by the suspected robbers in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga early today.

Alam Mondol, 42, a residence of Pathadanga, is receiving treatment with splinter injuries at Chuadanga Sadar Hospital, reports our Kushtia correspondent.

The injured two were released after primary treatment.

A group of seven to eight robbers hurled at least seven crude bombs while he was sleeping at veranda of his house around 1:30am, Alam told reporters.

“Before the attack, they wanted money from me and I told them that I had no money,” Alam said.

Chuadanga Superintendent of Police Rashidul Hasan confirmed the incident.
