2 bKash agents mugged

Armed muggers took away Tk 18 lakh from two agents of bKash in Rahmatnagar area of the town yesterday. Injured agents Ruhul Amin Liton and Salauddin Asif were rushed to Noakhali General Hospital. They were later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated. A gang intercepted the two in the area around 11:45am. They took away a bag containing the money, after shooting Liton and beating up Asif mercilessly, Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sudharam Police Station, said. On information, police rushed to the spot, rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital for treatment.
