10 inured as villagers clash

At least 10 people were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over a trifling matter at Ulpur village in Sadar upazila on Monday. Abu Nayem, sub-inspector of Boultoli Police Camp, said one Ashraf Mollah and Ulu Mollah of the village locked in an altercation in the morning over fishing in a local canal. As a sequel, their supporters' equipped with sharp weapons swooped on each other around 5:00pm, leaving 10 people, including a woman injured. Of the injured, Ashraf, Hasmat and Mabia Begum were admitted to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital while Monir was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
