Coronavirus: Chandpur comes under lockdown

Chandpur district has been put under lockdown for an indefinite period from today to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The district committee on coronavirus prevention affairs took the decision, Chandpur Deputy Commissioner Md Mazedur Rahman Khan announced in a Facebook post today.
The decision will come into effect from 7am today, a correspondent from Chandpur reports quoting the DC.
As per the decision, public entry and exit have been restricted in the district until further notice.
All kinds of public transport and movement of people will also be restricted, the DC said.
