Restaurants can be kept open in Chattogram on 7 conditions: CMP
Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Mahabubor Rahman has said the food shops, bakeries and restaurants can be kept open in the port city but only on some conditions for the sake of people.
The CMP commission has directed officers-in-charge of all the police stations in the metropolitan area in this regard, said Abu Bakar Siddique, addition deputy commission (public relation) of CMP.
The police officials have also been asked to be watchful so that the restaurant owners follow the guidelines.
The conditions are:
1. Food can only be collected and parceled for home. Food cannot be eaten inside restaurants or shops.
2. Customers have to maintain hygiene.
3. Customers must maintain social distancing while waiting in line for their food parcels.
4. No gathering is acceptable centering any restaurant or food shop.
5. From the process of making the food items to the sale, health and hygiene rules must be followed by restaurant staff.
6. Handwash or sanitiser should be kept at every food store.
7. Health regulations must be followed for food parcels.
