Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition GM Quader has tested positive for Covid-19.
He has been remaining in isolation at home on advice of the doctor.
JP chairman's press secretary Khandaker Delwar Jalali confirmed this to The Daily Star today.
GM Quader's physical condition is stable now, he said.
GM Quader had been feeling weak for the last several days and tested positive for Covid-19 on January 12, he added.
The JP chairman is taking medicine and normal diet as per the doctor's advice and he is not suffering from any physical complications, Jalali also said.
