Covid-19: 26 die, 1,886 infected; positivity rate now 9.39%

Twenty-six people died of Covid-19 infection across the country in 24 hours (till 8 this morning), according to a press release issued by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

At least 1,886 people have been infected with Covid-19 in this time, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in a press release today.

The current positivity rate has dropped slightly to 9.39 percent. The death rate is currently 1.52 percent.

With the new fatalities, a total of 8,668 people have died of coronavirus in the country and the total number of Covid-19 infected patients has increased to 5, 68, 706.

According to the DGHS, 1,577 more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 5, 20, 718 patients have recovered from the coronavirus.
