CORAL BLUE RESORT

As you descend from the speedboats onto the sandy shores of the beach, the hands of the staff of the resort wave you welcome to the southernmost point of the island. With the Coral Blue Resort, in sight and only a few minutes' walk away, the first touch of sand against the soles of your feet sends a tingling sensation up your spine.
About 8 minute's journey by speedboat from the main jetty of the St. Martin's Island is the Coral Blue Resort, built on a patch of 24 acre land. It is an experience that comes close to fulfilling that mental image we all seem to have of discovering a remote, perfect, untouched island escape.
Upon entering the resort one can discover an establishment set far away from our city lives. You can opt to stay at the constructed buildings with tin roofs; or if you are hungry for an even more serene experience - a tent raised with a view of the sea. The resort is the only accommodation on the island where you get a steady supply of electricity, 24/7. But essentially, one just needs to switch off the cell phone to be isolated from the world and feel like Robinson Crusoe.

There is however every option for a comfortable stay. The lavatories, keeping with the government guidelines, are made from concrete and there is a flowing supply of sweet water.
The food served at the resort is prepared from the fresh bounty of the sea, cooked by seasoned chefs according to your requirement.

Lighthouse, their traditional restaurant, serves tantalising Bangladeshi and Indian cuisines. It would be foolish not to indulge in a seafood fanfare during your stay at the resort, but 'meat' options are available as well.
One of the vantage points of the resort is its setting. Located at the southernmost point of the Island, the famed 'Chera Dwip' is only a 10 minutes' walk away. The crystal clear water of Coral Blue Resort's adjacent Chera Dwip area is the best in Bangladesh for snorkelling and scuba diving.
The uncharted 'rock beach' is also nearby, a rocky junction between the coral reef and the untamed sea.
Fishing trips can also be a great daytime adventure. They have all the modern fishing facilities in Coral Blue Resort to support your fishing trip.
In the evening one can venture into the main bazaar of St Martin's, a one hour walk through the long sandy beach, the hub of the remote island. This serves as a stark contrast to the serenity of the setting, but brings a spark to the St Martin's experience.
The night ends early in the resort, dining provisions being over by 10pm. This way you have the rest of the night to yourself, maybe your companion and the untamed sea.
