The Congress has decided to go alone in the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir by putting up candidates on all 87 seats.
Senior Congress leader Ambika Soni said that the party will contest all 87 assembly seats in the state alone.
Congress-National Conference coalition government came to power under chief minister Omar Abdullah in January 2009. According to sources, workers of both parties are against going together in the polls.
