Civil admin sees another reshuffle
The government yesterday gave new postings to 20 senior level officials of different ministries and divisions.
Of them, six are additional secretaries and the other 14 are joint secretaries. Separate gazettes have been published in this regard.
Among the additional secretaries, Abdul Kuddus, an officer on special duty (OSD), has been made executive director of Bangladesh Climate Change Trust; and Mohammad Iqbal, director general of the National Institute for Population Research and Training, has been made BCIC chairman.
Shama Pada Dey, additional secretary OSD, has been made director general of Jatiya Muktijoddha Council; and Power Division Additional Secretary Taposh Kumar Roy has been made chairman of Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority. Expatriate Welfare Ministry Additional Secretary Mohammad Alamgir has been made director general of Primary Education Directorate; and Khandaker Akhtaruzzaman, member of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority, has been made chairman of National Housing Authority.
