Two stabbed to death in capital

Two persons were stabbed to death in Darussalam and Airport Railway Station areas in the capital yesterday and Thursday night.

Md Shaheen, 17, was stabbed to death in Tolerbagh area around 8:30pm on Thursday following a “senior-junior” scuffle over a football match at Lalkuthi ground, said Selimuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Darussalam Police Station.

Yesterday, Rubeya, 26, a beggar, was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband Nazmul following a quarrel near Dhaka Airport Railway Station, said Dhaka Railway police.

Locals took Rubeya to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
