Two held for giving proxy at CU, jailed

A mobile court on Friday jailed two people for five days after they were detained for giving proxy to other examinees at the viva voce of honours admission test under Social Science faculty of Chittagong University.

The convicts -- Khalilullah Forkan, 19, and Morshed Kabir, 20, -- were also fined Tk 20,000 each.

The CU authority detained the duo from the faculty's dean office on Thursday and handed them over to police.
