Two bodies found in Kushtia, Meherpur

Police recovered the body of a man from the Gorai River in Ghoraghat area of Kushtia Sadar yesterday.

The body of Faruk Hossain, 26, of Milpra area in the town bore no injury marks, said police, adding, he was a truck driver.

Meanwhile, the body of Khokon Khan, 45, an auto-rickshaw driver, with his hands and legs were tied up, was recovered in Meherpur.

Police said Muggers might have strangled him and snatched his vehicle. Two cases were filed.
