Tongi man killed over 'past enmity'

A man was killed allegedly over previous enmity in Ershad Nagar area of Tongi yesterday morning.

The deceased, Delwar Hossain, 30, an expatriate living in Malaysia, returned home two months ago, police said.

Officer-in-Charge of Tongi Police Station Aminul Islam said one Picchi Hossain with his gang hacked Delwar sharp weapons at his residence and fled.

Delwar was rushed to Tongi Government Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
