Three found dead in Savar

Three people were found dead in different areas of Savar, outside the capital, yesterday.

In Vakurta, police recovered the body of an unidentified youth, aged around 24, with his throat slit near Shamlashi Bazar. The body also bore several injury marks which indicated that he was beaten with rods, police said.

In Hemayetpur, Helal uddin, 60, was found dead at a garage of battery-run three-wheelers which he used guard. Police said miscreants electrocuted him before making away with a vehicle from the garage.

Meanwhile, police recovered the body of an unidentified man, aged around 50, who seemed to have died after being beaten, from Savar Upazila Health Complex. Doctors said two youths brought the man who was already dead and tactically fled away.

Police sent the bodies to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsies.
