Three-day debate contest starts today at RU

A three-day national debate competition will start today at Rajshahi University (RU).

Group of Liberal Debaters Bangladesh (GOLD Bangladesh), withassistance of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), is organising the debatefor the third time.

Around 96 debaters from 32 universities across the country are participating in the competition.

RU Vice-Chancellor Prof M AbdusSobhan will inaugurate the programme, said the organisers at a press conference yesterday.
