Snigdha, Kamrul suspended from school
Snigdha Sarkar Dipa and Kamrul Islam have been suspended from Tajhat High School in Rangpur city for their alleged involvement in Rathish murder.
The suspension order was issued on Thursday, said Abu Rafa Mohammad Arif, additional deputy commissioner (education and information technology) of Rangpur, while talking to The Daily Star.
The suspension would be effective from the day they were arrested in connection with the murder, said the ADC.
The Deputy Commissioner's office of Rangpur appointed the ADC as the president of Tajhat High School management committee after the death of Rathish.
Snigdha and Kamrul, who joined the school as teachers in 1994, were shown arrested on April 5.
Rathish Chandra Bhowmik, a public prosecutor of Rangpur court, was also the president of the management committee.
He was murdered at his residence in Tajhat Babupara area on March 29.
