Seminar on climate change at IUB

The Department of Environmental Science under the School of Environmental Science and Management (SESM), and the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) held a seminar titled “Climate Change, Social Stress and Armed Conflict” on its campus in the capital on Sunday.

Dr Elisabeth Gilmore, assistant professor of the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, USA, was the key resource person. Dr Saleemul Huq, director, ICCCAD, Dr Abdul Khaleque, dean, SESM, and Prof Lutfor Rahman also spoke.
