Schoolgirl raped in Mymensingh

A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Phulbaria upazila of Mymensingh on Thursday.

Quoting the victim family, Phulbaria police said Munir Hossain, 20, raped the girl when she went to a pond for bathing. Hearing her scream, neighbours recovered her but Munir fled away.

A case was filed against Munir. Her forensic medical exam will be conducted today.
