Savar missing boy found dead after 6 days

Police recovered the decomposed body of a seven-year-old boy from a pond beside his house at Baherchor of Savar, outside the capital, yesterday six days after he went missing.

Manik Hosen, son of Shofikul Islam had gone missing on June 30 after he went to an adjacent playground for playing.

Police said he could be killed or downed in the pond.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
