Road crashes kill three
Three people including a three-year-old boy were killed in road accidents in three districts yesterday.
In Kushtia, a three-year-old boy was killed as he was run over by a human-hauler on Daulatpur-Thana road in Taragunia Mandalpara area of Daulatpur upazila, reports UNB.
The deceased is Ariyan, son of Oman expatriate Sharif Uddin.
Shah Dara Khan, officer-in-charge of Daulatpur Police Station, said the boy died on the spot.
In Laxmipur, a man was killed as a bus hit his motorcycle in front of Jadia Madrasa on Dhaka-Laxmipur road, reports UNB.
The deceased is Ismail Hossain, a resident of Torabganj area in Kamalnagar upazila. He died on the spot.
In Sirajganj, another motorcyclist was killed and his elder brother injured as a Dhaka-bound bus hit their bike on Hatikumrul-Banpara highway in Naimuri Bazar area of Salonga upazila, reports BSS.
The deceased is Rabin, 20, of Baulatala village of the upazila. He died on the spot. Injured Rabbi was sent to a local hospital in critical condition.
