Road crashes kill four
Four people were killed in road accidents in the country yesterday.
Our Dinajpur correspondent reports, Md Sazzad Hossain, 18, son of late Dalil Uddin of Birampur upazila, died as a bus hit him at Chararhat in Nawabganj upazila.
Our Thakurgaon correspondent adds, Goni Masud, 44, headmaster of Domino School Bangladesh in Thakurgaon municipality, was killed when a bus hit his motorbike on Thakurgaon-Panchagarh highway at Chowdhuryhat in Sadar upazila.
Locals beat the driver and blocked the road for an hour in protest.
Our Mymensingh correspondent adds, a grocer, Abdul Hekim Talukder, 56, of Netrakona Sadar upazila, died after a motorbike hit his bicycle in Thakurakuna Railway Station area in the upazila.
Meanwhile, Hasan, 10, son of Hasmot Ali of Bhaluka municipality, was killed as a truck ran him over in Bhaluka municipal area.
