Road crashes kill 4
Four people, including a six-year-old boy, were killed and four others injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday and on Monday.
In Mymensingh, Mahin, 6, was killed as a truck ran him over while he was crossing the Mymensingh-Sherpur road in Rupchandrapur area of Tarakanda upazila yesterday.
Mahin, son of Shahidul Islam of Rupchandrapur, died on the spot.
In another accident, a three-wheeler driver was killed and four passengers of the vehicle were injured when a bus rammed the vehicle on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Churkhai area of Mymensingh Sadar yesterday.
The deceased was Sohel Miah, 30, of Akua Madrasa Quarter area in the upazila.
In Naogaon, Abdur Razzak, 62, of Nilphamari Sadar was killed as a truck hit his motorcycle on Badargachhi-Akkelpur road in Bhandarpur village under Badalgachhi upazila on Monday.
Razzak was a retired official of the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE).
In Jessore Sadar, rice trader Kaium Hossain, 35, of Churamon Kathi Bazar was killed as a bus rammed his motorcycle in Barobazar area yesterday.
