Rickshaw-puller killed in Bogra

A rickshaw-puller was killed by miscreants who tried to snatch his vehicle on Bogra-Namuja road in Goradhap Bazar area of Bogra Sadar on Thursday night.
The deceased was Mithu Mia, 45, of Krisnochanda village.
Police said two passengers hired Mithu's battery-run rickshaw in Trade Fair area to go to Goradhap Bazar.
On the way, the duo hacked Mithu in his back and tried to snatch the rickshaw. As locals rushed there hearing Mithu's screams the duo fled.
Mithu was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
