Regent launches special offers to Thailand
Regent Airways, one of the leading private airliners in the country, in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced special roundtrip pricings to Bangkok from Dhaka and Chittagong on Thursday.
The special offer -- priced Tk 18,000 for flights from Dhaka and Tk 23,796 for flights from Chittagong -- also includes free one-night hotel stay in Bangkok if at least two tickets are purchased together, Sohel Majid, Regent Airways director of sales and marketing, said.
The offers were revealed during a programme organised by the airline at a hotel in Chittagong city.
The offer will be valid from May 14 to July 31, according to Regent officials.
Isra Stapanaseth, director of TAT, said as part of the “Amazing Thailand” programme, “we have planned to provide more facilities to Bangladeshi tourists and as part of this initiative we have made partnership with Regent Airways.”
Number of tourists from Bangladesh has been growing every year and last year Thailand welcomed 1,25,130 visitors from Bangladesh -- a growth of 21 percent compared to the previous year, he also said.
Salman Habib, deputy managing director of Regent Airways; Hanif Zakaria, chief commercial officer of the airline; and Vaishali Sharma, marketing officer of TAT, also spoke among others.
