President, PM denounce Paris attacks
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday strongly denounced Friday's terrorist attacks which have killed 129 people at a concert hall, restaurants and the national sports stadium of Paris.
During a courtesy call made on the president at Bangabhaban in the capital, Hasina reaffirmed her government's strong stance against terrorism.
During the meeting, Hasina apprised the president of her recent visits to the Netherlands and the USA. The premier went to the Netherlands on November 3 at the invitation of her Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte. She attended the 70th United Nations General Assembly in the USA in September.
Secretaries and high officials of both the president and prime minister's offices were present yesterday.
