Positive thinking breeds success: Speakers
Md Hanif, an undergraduate student of economics, plans to create a world free of war and hunger, without religious and economic barriers, where nations will work together.
Hanif and youths like him shared their ideas being motivated to think positive at a seminar “LSF Corporate Speaker Series on Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Corporate Communications” organised by Listeners & Speakers Forum (LSF) at the capital's The Daily Star Centre yesterday, participated by students and professionals of different institutions.
Rehnuma Karim, a motivational speaker, said positive thinking breeds success. “…everybody should think positive.” “Emotional intelligence is also an important part of our career as it creates happiness…,” said Rehnuma, an assistant professor of The College at Brockport, State University of New York.
Arifur Rahman Khan, assistant general manager of IT and HR department of Transcom Electronics Ltd, said, bosses need to appreciate their employees, and the employees should focus on self care to get rid of stress. HM Mainuddin Ahammed, founder and chief executive of LSF, and Pradip Kar Chowdhury, an executive director of ACI Limited, also spoke.
