Law enforcers today raided at the Fu-Wang Club at Tejgaon Industrial area of Dhaka but found no irregularities there.
A joint team of Detective Branch (DB) of Police and Tejgaon Industrial Police Station started the raid this afternoon.
Law enforcers conducted the drive suspecting that there might be gambling activities going on, Executive Magistrate Abdullah Al Mamun told The Daily Star. But there were no traces of such irregularities there, he added.
Meanwhile, the law enforcers also raided two other bars – Piashi at Moghbazar and Golden Dragon at Banglamotor – this evening in search of gambling and other irregularities, Abdur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Hatirjheel Police Station, told The Daily Star.
But no trace of irregularities was found in these two places, he added.
