Police arrested a man with huge quantities of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) equipment in Bakalia area of the city early yesterday.

On information, police raided a five-storey building at Sayed Shah Road and seized the instruments of illegal VoIP business -- including 464 SIMs, batteries and modem of mobile operators -- from different flats, said Pronob Chowdhury, OC of Bakalia police.

Police arrested one Noman from the spot. A case was filed.
