One held with Tk 1 lakh fake notes

Police arrested a youth with Tk 1.03 lakh forged notes in Kajirhat area of Chittagong city early yesterday.

The arrestee is Sourav Biswas, 25, of Boalkhali upazila in Chittagong.

On information, police arrested Sourav with Tk 32,000 fake notes around 12:30am. Later, more fake notes of Tk 71,000, a computer CPU, a monitor, a scanner and a printer were recovered from his mobile balance recharge shop, said police. All the notes are of Tk 1,000 denomination, police added.
