Obituary

Syeda Asiya Begum, wife of M Matiur Rahman, former communications minister, died at a city hospital after suffering from different illness yesterday. She was 80.

She left behind her husband, five daughters, three sons and grandchildren, said a press release.

Her body has been kept at Appollo Hospital's mortuary. She will be buried at her parental graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza at Azimpur Boro Daira Sharif on Monday.
