Newspaper hawker found dead

Police recovered the slit-throat body of a newspaper hawker in Rangpur city on Wednesday night.

Nuruzzaman Babu, 30, of Bahar Kasna area of the city was traceless since he went outside home in the afternoon. Around 9:30pm, his neighbours spotted his body in a paddy field nearby his home, said Officer-in-Charge of Rangpur Sadar Police Station ABM Zahidul Islam, quoting family members.

However, the reason behind the murder is yet to know, said the OC, adding, a case was filed and the body was sent it to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
