Zobeda Haque passes away
Zobeda Haque, mother of Liberation War Museum trustee Mofidul Haque, passed away at a hospital in the capital yesterday. She was 96, says a press release.
She left behind four sons, a daughter and a host of relatives to mourn her death. Her son Manjurul Haque is a professor and a journalist in Japan. Her youngest son Mobinul Haque is a professor at a Canadian university.
Zobeda played a crucial role in left political and democratic movements.
She was buried at Azimpur graveyard after Zohr prayers yesterday.
