Woman goes missing from capital’s Farmgate

Leena Leticia Biswas (49), an intellectually-challenged woman, has been missing from her residence at Monipuripara of Farmgate area since Monday morning.

Her relatives failed to find her after searching nearby areas for the whole day. They eventually filed a general diary with Tejgaon Police Station on the same night.

Leena's brother John Biswas told The Daily Star their father Benedict Biman Biswas got up in the morning and noticed that Leena was missing. Leena, the youngest among four siblings, has been intellectually-challenged since childhood, and is not used to going out alone.

"Our aged parents are very worried," John said.

If anyone comes across her, they are requested to contact her family at 01718-479509 or 01817-090252.
