Vitamin A+ campaign today
The government has set a target to feed more than 22 million children Vitamin A during today's campaign.
Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Thursday announced the date and target for the Vitamin A+ campaign during a press conference at the Secretariat.
More than 2.5 million children aged between six months and 11 months will be fed blue capsule while other 19.5 million aged from 12 to 59 months will be fed red ones, Maleque said.
The campaign will be conducted at 1.2 lakh centres.
Children living in remote areas under 240 unions in 42 upazilas of 12 districts will be fed the capsules in the next four days.
