Two crushed under train in Tejgaon

Two people died in an accident on the rail tracks of Dhaka’s Tejgaon area yesterday morning.

The deceased were identified as Taslima (38), a housewife, and Nadim (28), helper of a bus driver.

They were crushed under the Brahmanbaria-bound Titas commuter train while crossing the tracks around 10:30am. Both died on the spot, said sub-inspector Aminul Islam of Dhaka Railway Police Station.

The bodies were handed over to their families, he added.
