Two alleged hundi traders held

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two suspected hundi traders along with Tk 10 lakh from Amrakhali area under Benapole Port Police Station yesterday.

The arrestees were identified as Abdur Rashid, 30, and Minar Biswas, 32, said Lt Col Salim Reja, commanding officer of Border Guard Bangladesh 49 Battalion.

The BGB men raided the area and arrested the duo along with the money around 1:30pm.

Later, they were handed over to Benapole Port police and a case was filed in this connection.
